JonBoats

In treating aquatic weeds, a variety of vessels is often needed. As part of our “fleet,” Hillsborough County Mosquito and Aquatic Weed Control operates two Lowes JonBoats, which are used mostly on the Hillsborough River. The larger of the two is 14 feet long and uses a 40 horsepower Mercury outboard motor, and the smaller one measures 12 feet and uses a 5 horsepower Briggs and Stratton outboard motor.
