Valrico Road And Wheeler Road (CIP # 69600232):
Alternative 2 will widen Valrico Road to provide a dedicated northbound left turn lane from Valrico Road onto Wheeler Road. It will also widen Wheeler Road to provide a dedicated eastbound right turn lane from Wheeler Road onto Valrico Road.
Valrico Road And Sydney Road (CIP# 69600230):
Alternative 2 will include installation of a traffic signal, widen Valrico Road to improve the existing northbound right turn lane and will provide a dedicated southbound left turn lane from Valrico Road onto Sydney Road.
In addition, the improvements will be designed with sidewalks and bicycle lanes at both intersections to accommodate pedestrians and bicyclists. Additional Right-of-Way will be required for all the alternatives to make the proposed improved improvements.
