| The Consultant Appraiser Pre-Qualification Application ( PDF, 25KB ) must
be completed in its entirety. The completed application and all of the information requested in the application
must be delivered to the Real Estate Department by 9:00 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2006.
No applications will be accepted after this deadline.
Neither Hillsborough County personnel nor any other entity shall be responsible for applications that
do not arrive prior to the deadline. Applicants are fully responsible for delivery of the application.
Applications that are submitted by any electronic methods such as telephone, telegraph, electronic facsimile,
or computer will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Applications should be mailed or delivered to the following address:

| Appraiser Qualifications |
| |
The following information shall be utilized as criteria in selection of the most highly qualified
applicants for the County's Approved Appraisers List:
- Memberships and designations in professional appraisals associations
- Educational background of appraisers
- State of Florida general real estate appraiser certification
- State of Florida or Hillsborough County
Disadvantaged Minority/Disadvantaged Women Business Enterprise Program certification
- State of Florida
or Hillsborough County Small Business Enterprise Program registration
- Significant right of way appraisal
projects completed
- Total number of years in appraisal business
- Type of appraisals performed in Hillsborough County
- Eminent domain appraisal experience
- Eminent domain trial testimony experience
- Maintenance of an appraisal plant
- ELAPP/State Environmental Land appraisal experience
- Previous appraisal assignments for other government
agencies
- Examples of recent right of way appraisals reports (Upon Request)
- Right of Way appraisal experience
- Right of Way Appraisal review experience
Applicants may be required to attend a personal interview as part of the approval process.
