• Land Judging - Soil and land use competition held every fall for Junior and Senior High Schools throughout Hillsborough County.
• Envirothon - "Environmental Olympics" held every spring for Senior High School students throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.
• Ag Venuture (Agriculture in the Classroom) - Hands-on learning experience to teach 3rd graders about the importance of agriculture and to help them develop an understanding and appreciation of where their food comes from.  This program is sponsored by 4-H/Hillsborough County Extension, Hillsborough County Farm Bureau, Florida State Fair Authority and Florida's Agriculture Commodity Organizers.
• Poster Contest - Elementary school students throughout Hillsborough County have the opportunity to display their creative talents and knowledge of a given environmental theme.

Land judging gives Hillsborough County students the opportunity
to test their soils and land use knowledge.

The Envirothon tests Hillsborough and Pinellas high school students on
their knowledge of several environmental topics.

During Ag-Venture, Hillsborough County third graders are introduced to agricultural activities.
