Veterans Day Ceremony at Joe Churllia Courthouse Square on Kennedy Blvd, in Tampa hosted by the Greater
Tampa Chamber of Commerce and numerous community organizations including the University of South Florida,
University of Tampa, MacDill AFB, City of Tampa, Hillsborough County, and Tampa Downtown Partnership.
Military displays and music by the Airmen of Note at noon. All veterans will be honored on this day.

Various events at the Veterans Memorial Park and Museum, located at 3202 N. USHwy 31 in Tampa. For complete

Firebase Golden - There will be a special Vietname War Veterans Living History Encampment on display.
The camp will feature 1960 military vehicles, veterans' memorabilia and U.S. Uniforms and equipment fo
teh Vietnam War. A special program is planned for a Memorial Watch-Fire at 7 p.m. Park hours for the
Firebase display are 10 a.m. - 5:30 daily. Museum hours are 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. daily.

On Saturday, the Hillsborough County Veterans Day Parade will be held in Town ‘N Country. The parade
starts at 10 am and goes from Woodbridge Elementary School on Woodbridge Blvd to Hanley Rd south to Hillsborough
Ave. For additional information or to participate in the parade, contact the parade coordinator Tom Hughey

11:00 AM - Veterans Day Program. Hillsborough County's Veterans Council's Annual Program. This year's
event features keynote speaker, several patriotic songs by Dinah Soliman, numerous awards to those selected
for the "Keeping the American Patriotic Spirit Alive", a dove release, presentation of the
Ed Porterfield award, and refreshments. The event take's place at the Hillsborough County Veterans Memorial
