Plan history
Hillsborough County and The Planning Commission worked with area residents, civic leaders, business owners, and organizational representatives to assess current characteristics, future aspirations, and methods of bringing about desired change for this area. As a result of this two-year process, a community plan for the Little Manatee South was adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on September 10, 2010. The plan is the official policy document providing a Vision Statement, Six Goals, Strategies, a Boundary Map and a Concept Map.
