Committee to Assist Budget Director in Preparing Required Financial Impact Statements

This is a hybrid in-person quorum* meeting of The Committee to Assist the County Budget Director in Preparing Charter Required Financial Impact Statements.

The purpose of the Committee to Assist the County Budget Director in Preparing Charter Required Financial Impact Statements is to offer input and advice to the Budget Director who is directed by Section 8.05 of the Hillsborough County Charter to prepare a financial impact statement for certain Countywide referenda, such as this year’s transportation surtax referendum.

Any person who might wish to appeal any decision made by the Committee to Assist the County Budget Director in Preparing Charter Required Financial Impact Statements regarding any matter considered at the forthcoming meeting is hereby advised that he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made which will include the testimony and evidence upon which such an appeal is to be based.

What is a hybrid in-person quorum meeting?

A hybrid in-person quorum meeting is where a quorum of the board members meets in-person at a physical location. The rest of the board, staff and general public participate virtually.
