Carrollwood Village Park


The purpose of this project is to acquire part of the former Dale Mabry Wastewater Treatment Plant site and develop the surplus land into a passive community park. This project will be produced in phases and will involve project development, design, and construction. Proposed park infrastructure for Phase I includes site work, landscaping, potable and reclaimed water, electric/power, roadways, paving, building renovation, construction of new park amenities, and various site improvements.Planned amenities include a walking/jogging trail, playground, dog park, open green space, large gazebo, picnic shelters, and other various park features as the budget allows

Cost and funding

  • Total Project funding is $10 million
  • $400,000 of the project funding is from NW Impact Fees
  • $9.6 million of the project funding is from financing


  • Phase IA substantially completed Oct 2018
  • Phase IB ongoing through Apr 2019
  • Phase II in planning phase ,completion end of 2019
