What we do
Our department focuses on keeping youth, and families protected and empowered to live safe, healthy lives.
Our Children in Need of Services/Families in Need of Services, CINS / FINS Program has two components: residential and nonresidential services, designed to help families whose youth exhibit risk factors that make them more susceptible to becoming involved with Juvenile Delinquency or Dependency system
Our 24/7 Residential Respite and Emergency Shelter programs for youth ages 10-17 provide enriching activities, individual and family counseling, academic support, and health/wellness services to support the stabilization of youth and families in crisis.
Community Counseling services are available to youth 6-17 years old and families, with access to free individual and/or family counseling with licensed therapists in multiple locations throughout Hillsborough County.
We also lead the Safe Place initiative in Hillsborough County that offers immediate respite help for runaway or homeless youth 24/7.
