Rules during the hearing
The Code Enforcement Board/Special Magistrate will call cases by party name in the order in which they appear on the agenda. Presentations by the County, Respondent(s) and Opposition must be kept to a maximum of ten (10) minutes each. The Magistrate may recess at 12:30 PM and reconvene at 1:30 PM to conclude its business if needed.
Evidence and Documentation
Should you opt to participate virtually in this public hearing, you will be able to provide oral testimony to the CEB/SM, but you will be unable to submit documentary evidence during the public hearing. Therefore, if you opt to participate in this public hearing virtually, you must submit any documentary evidence you wish to be considered by the CEB/SM to the staff of the Citizen Boards Support at least five (5) business days prior to the hearing.
Submitting documentation
All interested parties wishing to submit testimony or other evidence for the record in this matter must submit the documentation to Citizen Boards Support in at least one of the following manners:
- Mailed to P.O. Box 1110, Tampa, FL 33601 – Attn. Citizen Boards Support
- Emailed by attaching testimony and/or evidence documents to RodriguezSO@HCFLGov.net
All documentation submitted must reference the case number and address.

Viewing a Recording of the Hearings
The public and the media can view or listen to hearings approximately two to five business days after they have concluded on Hillsborough County's Playback YouTube Channel.
