Park closed to vehicles due to flooding damage

Dead River Conservation Park is closed to vehicles due to road damage caused by flooding. At this time we do not know when we will be able to repair the road. The park is still open to bicycle and foot traffic.

The wilderness at this remote park is ideal for nature enthusiasts. There’s a hiking trail alongside the Hillsborough River, and the woods and river offer opportunities to kayak, fish, picnic, and view wildlife.
