Sydney Dover Conservation Park
A majority of preserves and some parks are now open. Visit the COVID-19 Closures & Reopenings page for more info.
Location and Hours
The entrance to Sydney Dover Conservation Park, located at 535 N. Dover Rd., is currently closed due to storm damage.
This conservation park features a popular 7.5 mile equestrian trail, located east of Brandon, and is high and dry most of the year. The trail has changes in contour because of its history as a reclaimed phosphate mine. The trailhead has plenty of space for horse trailers, plus an informational kiosk and trail map. Please note, we do not provide horseback riding rentals; you must bring your own horse.
The trail is located at 535 N. Dover Rd. Take Hwy. 60 to N. Dover Road and turn north. Continue approximately ½ mile to parking area on the east side of the road.
Call Edward Medard Regional Park at (813) 757-3802 for additional information.
