Residents Asked to Share Their Opinions in Countywide Survey
Hillsborough County, Fla. (March 21, 2019) -- Adoring your adopted pet? Psyched about your streetlights? Pleased with your local park? Or maybe you have an idea to share.
Now is your chance to let your voice be heard in a countywide survey aimed at collecting sentiments from residents about their experience in Hillsborough County.
Starting March 22, residents may be contacted to participate in a telephonic survey. A sample of 325 residents per district will be phoned to rate their satisfaction with their quality of life, community amenities, and delivery of local government services as the County kicks off the 2019 Hillsborough Countywide Survey.
The anonymous telephonic survey will collect responses from a total of 1,300 residents and is designed to measure resident sentiment in key focus areas such as:
- Local economy
- Public safety
- Life enrichment
- Recreational opportunities
- Self-sufficiency programs for individuals and families
- High-quality community assets
The survey will serve as a baseline for future surveys as well as provide an opportunity to gather information about the services residents feel are most important in this community.
County residents that may not be included in the telephonic survey are still being asked to participate in the process. The County will launch a digital, online version of the survey on April 8, 2019.
