County Commissioners Schedule Special Meeting on June 25

Discuss Proposed Ordinance Providing Right to Wear Face Coverings, and Resolution Regarding Entry and Safety Protocols

Hillsborough County, Fla. (June 24, 2020) - The Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners has scheduled a special meeting on Thursday, June 25, to discuss these two agenda items:

A. Consider and approve an Ordinance draft providing individuals in Hillsborough County with the right to wear face coverings with certain exceptions, to be codified in the Hillsborough County Code

B. Commissioner Kimberly Overman's request to consider and approve a Resolution regarding entry and safety protocols for public areas of County properties, parks and buildings under the County Administrator The virtual special meeting will be held immediately after the conclusion of the Environmental Protection Commission meeting (EPC). The EPC meeting begins at 9 a.m.
