STEAM Time: Recycled Rockets
Monday, Aug. 1 at 5:30 p.m.

Engage in a hands-on STEAM project or activity. Today's focus is Recycled Rockets. Learn about the conservation of energy with this fun, stomp rocket project using recycled materials and a few household items.

Attendees who want to follow along with the activity at home will need the following supplies:

  • Juice pouch (like Capri sun; any brand will work)
  • Regular size straws (any kind, bendable or straight)
  • Card stock (empty cereal box or heavy weight junk mail)
  • Heavy duty tape (like duct tape) or hot glue
