Celebrate 813 Day on Aug. 13: Show Why Hillsborough is the Best!

Help the County mark the special day by sharing social media posts, photos, and stories about the 813 area code

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Aug. 10, 2023) - It's time to celebrate 813 Day and show your love for the nation's best area code.

This is the eighth annual 813 Day, recognized on Aug. 13, when Hillsborough County residents can express their love for the 813 with social media posts, photos, and stories of adventures.

This year's theme is "I'm 813."

Leading up to 813 Day, Hillsborough County is asking residents to submit their 813 story for a chance to be shared on Hillsborough County's official social media channels. Whether you've been here just a few years or you are a longtime resident, share your 813 story.

On 813 Day, residents can update their profile picture across social media by downloading the official #813Day profile frame. Also, residents can create a video tribute to the 813 by capturing a vlog-style video introducing themselves, stating why they are 813, and what they love about Hillsborough County. Residents can tag @HillsboroughFL for a chance for the videos to be shared on the County's official social media channels.
