Hillsborough to Treat for Mosquitoes by Air in South Tampa on Monday Sept 18

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2023) - Hillsborough County Mosquito Management Services will conduct aerial applications of Dibrom to control adult mosquitoes on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. at the following locations:

South Tampa 11,832 acres
North Boundary: Gandy Boulevard
South Boundary: Tampa Bay (body of water)
East Boundary: Tampa Bay (body of water)
West Boundary: Tampa Bay (body of water)

The mission will be flown by a twin-engine airplane at an altitude of 300 feet.

• First alternate spray date: Sept. 19, 2023
• Second alternate spray date: Sept. 20, 2023
