Senior Summer Camp, offered by Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation during a week in late May, offers fun, interesting activities to residents age 50 and older. Here's this year's lineup:

Day One: Tuesday, May 28 - Tour Ocala, "The Horse Capital of the World." It's a behind-the-scenes look at three of the area's horse farms, and a chance to visit with the animals, up close. Campers also will ride through Ocala, learning about the city's equine history. Cost: $12.

Day Two: Wednesday, May 29 - Get a day pass to Tradewinds Island Resort on St. Pete Beach, which TripAdvisor calls one of the nation's top beaches. Plummet down a giant water slide, pilot a paddleboat, play mini golf, take a swim, or just relax on the beach. Cost: $37.

Day Three: Thursday, May 30 - Skim across Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico on personal watercraft. A concession just inside Johns Pass rents the vessels. An orientation, including safety tips, precedes the outing. Cost: $68 for one person on a watercraft; or $33.50 per person for two.

Day Four: Friday, May 31 -Make-up day, in case one of the earlier excursions is postponed due to bad weather. If the sun shines throughout the week, senior campers will go to a bowling alley. Cost: Depends on activity.

Register for one, two, three, or all of the daily excursions. For more information, call (813) 981-4237, or email
