What’s up Hillsborough?

Hillsborough County is making it audibly easy to get informed about exciting events, activities, and services available throughout the county

Looking to explore our many conservation parks? Do you want access to critical emergency alerts and hurricane preparedness tips? Or are you looking for quick and easy information about pet adoption and mosquito prevention without having to surf the web?

With just the click of a button, “What’s up Hillsborough?” will bring you the latest newsroom headlines highlighting the wonderful events, programs, and services we have to offer.

Just look for the “Whats Up Hillsborough?” icon on the Hillsborough County Newsroom homepage. There, you’ll also find a way to listen via your Amazon Alexa device.

If you don’t have an Alexa device, you can download the free app from the Amazon Appstore, Google Play, or the Apple App Store.

The 2- to 3-minute daily updates can be heard on Alexa-enabled electronic devices. To listen, open your Alexa app and download the Hillsborough County News skill. Then just say: "Alexa, play Hillsborough County News." If you want to start your mornings with our news first, you can edit the order of your flash briefings under settings.
