Don’t Let COVID-19 Take You Off Your Game

Lots of exercise options, including outdoor activities, are available to those deterred from normal routines

Looking for fun ways to stay fit at home? We’ve got you covered.

Don’t let the threat of COVID-19 take you off your game. There are lots of ways to get a workout in your house, yard, and neighborhood while maintaining good social distancing practices. Exercise makes you feel good, physically and mentally.

Even 20 minutes of exercises interspersed with brief rest periods will keep adults and children in shape. Perhaps best of all, physical exercise can strengthen immune systems.

Getting outside to run, walk, do yard work, take your dog for a romp, or work out is a great way to stay physically fit. Just remember to keep at least 6 feet between you and other people.

Many gyms, workout studios, sports leagues, and other entities offer free online exercise programs that help people contend with measures taken to deter the spread of coronavirus. Check websites associated with your family’s activities for advice.
