Florida Surgeon General: Seniors, People with Severe Medical Issues Should be Extra Cautious

Advisory defines “vulnerable populations,” lists precautionary measures

Seniors and people with serious health conditions need to be especially wary of contracting COVID-19.

That’s the word from Florida Surgeon General Scott Rivkees, who issued an advisory this week. People older than age 65 and those of any age with high-risk health conditions are particularly susceptible to the virus and should make every effort to avoid exposure to it.
