
Going Back to School? Bring Along Tampa-Hillsborough Public Libraries
The start of the 2022-23 school year is just around the corner. In person and virtually, Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Libraries can help students, parents, and caregivers with cost-free resources to support and enhance learning for a successful year.
HAAL Pass: Through HAAL (Hillsborough All Access Libraries) Pass, all students enrolled in a Hillsborough County public school, charter school, or virtual school have access to public library resources even if they don't have a public library card. Students can use their student ID number to access homework help, find articles for school assignments, read ebooks and digital audiobooks, and borrow up to three items. All public-school students are automatically enrolled in the program.
Free Live Online Tutoring: Get help with schoolwork, prepare for a test, send in a paper for review, and even connect with a live tutor with Tutor.com. Tutoring is available in any subject, including SAT prep and essay writing. One-to-one help, including for Spanish-speaking students, is offered seven days a week from 2 p.m. to midnight. Experienced tutors are available to provide feedback and the tools students need to excel.
