
Get Your Family-Friendly Frights with Hillsborough's Haunted Events
The haunting season is upon us, and Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation has some spooktacular events to help you celebrate Halloween. From family-friendly Halloween movies in the park and costume contests to Halloween skate jams and a Halloween dance for adults with disabilities, Parks & Recreation has something to offer everyone.
Movies in the Park: Free, family-fun event to enjoy a night under the stars and watch some of your favorite family movies. Movies begin at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 22, Movie: Scoob!, Lesley "Les" Miller, Jr. All People's Community Park and Life Center
- Friday, Oct. 29, Movie: Monsters, Inc., Ruskin Park & Recreation Center (part of the Trunk or Treat Celebration)
Trunk or Treat Celebration: Each park will have candy, games, prizes, costume contests, and other activities.

Halloween Ball for All: Adults with disabilities are invited to put on their best Halloween costume and hit the dance floor with Parks & Recreation.
- Friday, Oct. 29 at the Brandon Park & Recreation Center, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Halloween Skate Jam: Grab your board and compete against other skaters in the spooktacular Halloween Skate Jam! Best Trick Contest, Coffin Race, and Best Costume Contest
- Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Carrollwood Village Skate Park, 5-8 p.m.
- Friday, Oct. 29 at the Jackson Springs Skate Park, 5-8 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 30 at the Providence Skate Park, 5-8 p.m.
