Learn About Removing and Replacing Trees in Hillsborough County during Webinar Oct. 7

Free information session covers the tree removal process in unincorporated Hillsborough County

Have a tree on your property that you need to remove? Unsure if you need to replace it? Not sure what to plant if it does need to be replaced?

Hillsborough County will be hosting a live webinar covering these questions and many others regarding the tree removal process in unincorporated Hillsborough County on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, from 10 to 11 a.m.

The Development Services department's Natural Resources team will cover the general tree removal process and touch on some of the most commonly asked questions, including information on Grand Oaks. There will also be a demonstration showing how to apply for a tree removal permit on the HillsGovHub portal. The webinar will close with a brief question-and-answer session.

This is the perfect opportunity for tree removal professionals, neighborhood association members, and curious residents to become familiar with the entire process and avoid any potential unpleasant surprises later.

Registration for the free webinar can be completed online. For those interested but unable to attend, a recording of the session will be made available later on HCFLGov.net.

Can't wait for the webinar? Be sure to check out the County's Residential Tree Removal Guide for lots of helpful information or contact NaturalResources@HCFLGov.net with any questions.
