'Eat Well' Series Promotes Physical, Mental Wellness Through Healthy Cooking

Hillsborough County Aging Services teams with Mindful Mondays to teach residents easy and delicious recipes

Hillsborough County Aging Services Dietician Brian Taylor introduces the Mindful Mondays Eat Well series.


Taylor leads the County's Eat Well, Age Well program, which empowers senior residents to prepare simple recipes, which can lead them to create healthier meals, and improve their diet and overall health and well-being. However, Taylor says it's never too early or late to improve your diet.

People of all ages should focus on eating well balanced meals to improve physical and mental health. For more information, view the Eat Well series videos.

Mindful Monday Mental Health Resources

Mindful Mondays promotes different ways you can make your mental health a priority but not take up too much of your busy schedule. From chair yoga virtual classes to tips on how to decompress after a long day, Hillsborough County's Mindful Mondays has various interactive resources for you to access no matter what day or time it is.
