Register an Abandoned or Foreclosed Property

If you have a concern about a property in unincorporated Hillsborough County, which is not being maintained or is in a state of disrepair, call (813) 274-6600, and we will perform an inspection of the property within three business days.

All properties in unincorporated Hillsborough County undergoing or beginning the process of foreclosure must be registered with the County.

• Report an abandoned or vacant property: Free
• Register a foreclosed property: $200 per registration every six months
  • $25 late fee if the property is not registered or the registration fee is not paid within 30 days of when the property was required to be registered or the registration fee was required to be paid
