Overview

Pay for Hillsborough County Solid Waste single family residential garbage and recycling roll carts. You can also request and pay to swap to a larger or smaller cart.

Attention: Roll Cart Delivery Delays through November 1
Customers can expect delays in delivery of new and replacement roll carts until November 1, 2022. Solid Waste Management has mobilized additional resources to work through a significant delivery backlog and is prioritizing customers without carts or with badly damaged carts that prevent service collection. We appreciate our customers' understanding and patience during this period. After November 1, we anticipate carts to be delivered within 7-10 days of the original request.

Things to Consider

Residents who have moved into a newly constructed or previously owned home without carts CANNOT request carts using this online application. Email Solid Waste Management or call (813) 272-5680 to speak with a customer service representative about receiving initial carts.

  • Residents may only request one additional roll cart of each type (gray garbage cart and blue recycling cart).
  • Roll cart delivery orders will be completed within 10 to 15 business days of the initial date of purchase.
  • Residents can swap their existing cart for a fee. Carts come in 35, 65, and 95-gallon sizes
  • Residents who request to swap a roll cart will receive an automated text or email, based on their preferred contact noted during ordering, the day before the roll cart is scheduled to be swapped.
