Overview

If you are looking for a great place for your kids to spend their summer days, then check out our Parks & Recreation run summer camps. We have traditional camps for younger kids, teen camps, adaptive recreation program camps, and specialty camps. Summer camp for 2019 runs from June 10 - August 9.

  • There are only four sessions

Session Dates

We will offer four 2-week session camps and a 1-week session camp for a total of nine weeks.

All camps run from 7:30 AM to 6 PM, Monday - Friday, unless otherwise noted.

  • Session 1: June 10 – June 21
  • Session 2: June 24 – July 5
  • Session 3: July 8 – July 19
  • Session 4: July 22 –Aug. 2
  • Session 5: Aug. 5 – Aug 9 (one week)

Traditional & Inclusion Camps

  • Traditional camps are for children 6 - 12 yrs old
  • Inclusion camps are for children 5 - 17 yrs old
  • Inclusion programs provide opportunities for children with disabilities to interact and learn alongside their non-disabled peers in a recreational setting
  • Parents must first apply with the Inclusion Application Activity 999700, and the Adaptive Recreation team will contact you to discuss placement

Adaptive Recreation Program - Camp Sparks

  • Camp Sparks is designed for children from age 5 to 22, who have disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries and/or learning disabilities, and the locations are staffed with a 1-to-6 staff-to-student ratio by our Adaptive Recreation Team
  • Parents must first apply with the Camp Sparks Application Activity 999600, and the Adaptive Recreation team will contact you to discuss placement

Things to Consider

  • Prior to registration, you must establish an online Parks & Recreation account order to sign up for camps
  • If your child has a current reduced or free lunch letter, you may qualify for a fee reduction
  • You must submit a copy of the lunch letter to a recreation center before registration
  • Payment is due at the time of registration for each two week session

    • When the registration period is active, you will be able to either click on the activity number to take you directly to the online registration or you can search for the activity number when you are in your Parks & Rec account
