Can You Shred with the Best?

Start practicing your street and transition tricks for the first of the 2019 Best Shredder skateboard competition. The annual three-part skate series tests the skills of those who prefer to surf on solid ground.

Providence Skate Park, the first and largest of the three Hillsborough County skate parks, hosts the first leg of the competition. With a skating surface of 14,500 square feet, there's something for everyone no matter your skating ability. The diverse terrain at Providence offers options for all skill levels.

Features unique to Providence Skate Park include:

  • Quarter pipes
  • Hand rail
  • Pyramid
  • Step-up
  • Varied granite structures

And, the jewel in this granite park is a 9.5-foot peanut-shaped bowl.
