Our therapeutic recreation program offers training and competition in several sports for athletes interested in competing in the Special Olympics

Training programs

If you want to participate in the Special Olympics, we offer training training and competition in:

  • Swimming
  • Basketball
  • Bocce
  • Bowling
  • Cycling
  • Flag football
  • Volleyball

Special Olympics’ mission is to provide year round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for people with intellectual disabilities, giving them opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in athletic competitions.

Registration

Once you’ve checked athlete eligibility, and completed the medical release forms, you're ready to register for Special Olympics programs.

Qualifying information

This program is for all ages of individuals with an intellectual/developmental disability.

Volunteers and Unified Partners
