Waste facilities to dispose of non-collectible items by residential customers

We currently have five Community Collection Centers (CCC) to serve residential customers who need to get rid of waste such as batteries, paint, electronics, bulky items and appliances, tires, recycling, and household hazardous waste (HHW).

Please note, not all locations offer HHW and the locations that do are limited to certain Saturdays throughout the month from 8 AM to 2 PM. See more about discarding HHW.

CCC Locations

Unless otherwise noted, CCC's are open Monday - Saturday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.

What's accepted at CCC's

All five locations accept the following from any County resident with a photo ID:

Bulky waste and appliances

Unincorporated County solid waste customers can bring a photo ID and their property tax bill to drop off bulky waste and appliances.

Household Hazardous Waste

All County residents are eligible to use the HHW drop-off locations with a photo ID.

The following locations accept household hazardous waste from 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays throughout the month:

  • First Saturday of the month - Sheldon Road Household Hazardous Collection Center
  • Second Saturday of the month - South County Solid Waste Facility
  • Third Saturday of the month - Hillsborough Heights Solid Waste Facility
